“Teacup” is not a separate breed
Yorkshire Terriers are one breed. “Teacup” is an informal label often used to describe unusually small dogs, not an official breed or size classification. Adult size cannot be guaranteed by a label.
Think about care needs
Very small puppies can be especially delicate and may need additional attention to safe handling, feeding, warmth and injury prevention. Discuss health history, parent size and veterinary records before deciding.
Choose the individual puppy
Temperament, health, household fit and the ability to meet a puppy’s needs are more important than a size label alone. Ask questions and take time to make an informed decision.
